Im Jahre 2004 veröffentlichte Blaseio eine Untersuchung zu den ‚Entwicklungstendenzen von Inhalten im Sachunterricht’. Sie ergab, dass die physikalischen und chemischen Inhalte in Schulbüchern seit den 70er Jahren rapide abgenommen haben. Weil der Untersuchungszeitraum im Jahr 2000 endete, stellte sich für mich die Frage, wie sich der Anteil der physikalischen und chemischen Inhalte in den Schulbüchern der nächsten Jahre (bis 2005) seitdem weiterentwickelt hat. Um dieser Frage nachzugehen, habe ich vier Lehrwerkreihen, die zwischen 2003 und 2005 erschienen sind, nach den prozentualen Anteilen der physikalisch-chemischen Inhalte analysiert. Außerdem habe ich die Schulbücher danach untersucht, welche genauen Themen (Teilbereiche) sie aus dem physikalisch-chemischen Bereich behandeln. Meine Untersuchung ist dabei so aufgebaut, dass sie eine Weiterführung von Blaseios (vgl. 2004) Untersuchung darstellt.
Die Arbeit werde ich damit beginnen, dass ich darstelle, wie sich der Sachunterricht und so auch die Inhalte des Sachunterrichts seit dem Jahre 1970 entwickelt haben. Diese Entwicklung werde ich bis zur heutigen Zeit verfolgen und schwerpunktmäßig die neuesten Tendenzen in Augenschein nehmen. Im Weiteren stehen Forschungsergebnisse zu den Inhalten des Sachunterrichts im Mittelpunkt, wobei ich, im Hinblick auf meine eigene Untersuchung, vor allem den Entwicklungstendenzen der physikalischen und chemischen Inhalte Beachtung schenke. Im Weiteren stellt sich noch die Frage, warum die physikalischen und chemischen Themen besonders in den 80er und 90er Jahren immer weiter abgenommen haben. Welche Gründe gibt es dafür, sind sie auch heute noch aktuell und kann guy sie beheben? Das sind Fragen, die beantwortet werden müssen, damit die Gründe für die geringe Beachtung der physikalisch-chemischen Inhalte deutlich werden.
Nachdem ich den Forschungsstand und die Problemstellung der physikalischen und chemischen Inhalte dargestellt habe, komme ich zu meiner eigenen Untersuchung, die diese Inhalte in den Schulbüchern des Sachunterrichts analysiert. Im letzten Abschnitt folgt die Darstellung der Ergebnisse meiner Untersuchung.
